Let me refer you to a posting on BeliefNet.com. Paul Raushenbush, Associate Dean for Religious Life at Princeton University offers a prayer for Easter at this URL:

What would you pray for or, if you don't pray, what would you hope for - for yourself, your family, your friends, your community, your nation, and all those around the world?

Dear Rev. Michael:
First I want to say thank you for a wonderful Easter service. I was my first time at the Church and you made it wonderful. You kept it lively with the children's time and I loved I that you did a large segment of your service with just a mike and down with us. You sermon was great, clear, consise and to the point, it was very refreshing. We live in Wyoming and drove down to attend mass at your church for Easter and it was well worth the trip. We will be back.
On to your queation of what would we pray for? That is an easy one for me. On Easter when we attended church I prayed that I could be more forgiving and tolerant of those that I do not agree with, I have a hard time with that. I prayed for peace as almost everyone else does. I prayed for the United States to stand up and take charge of the world again, for us to lead with love, strength and persaverence. I prayed for the families of the world to start teaching their children values, but most of all I prayed for the youth of this world who have lost their way and have let themselves become the society of entitlement. The you of today have lost the meaning of love, friendship, work ethic, loyality, and morals, so I pray for the young of this world and I pray that they learn the love of god.
